What can I get my videos or photos transferred to?
You can choose:

DVD (playable on most DVD players)
Private online link (Google Drive or WeTransfer)
You’ll always get your originals back too.
Do you take postal orders?
Yes — most of our customers post in their tapes or photos from all across Ireland.
We’ll guide you on how to pack them safely, and we’ll return everything when finished.
Can I drop off tapes in person?
Yes — we’re based in Cork city and accept local drop-offs by appointment.
Just message us first on WhatsApp to arrange a time.
How long does it take?
Most jobs are done in 5–10 working days, depending on the size of the order.
Urgent jobs can sometimes be prioritised — just ask!
Do you fix colours or improve quality?
Yes — we offer colour correction, flicker reduction, and audio clean-up on request.
Basic clean-up is included, but advanced work may cost extra (€15–50 depending on what’s needed).
Are the tapes cleaned?
Yes, all tapes are lightly cleaned and inspected before digitising.
If we spot mould or damage, we’ll let you know and advise the best approach.
How do I pay?
We accept:
Bank transfer (after completion)
Revolut or PayPal
Cash
No payment is needed upfront, unless it’s a large job or requires special equipment.
I’m not sure what’s on the tapes — can you check?
Absolutely — we can preview the tapes and let you know what’s on them before transferring.
We won’t charge to check, unless it’s a huge batch.
What if the tape is broken?
We can usually repair broken tapes for free.
Splicing, fixing snapped film or cassette damage is included — unless it’s severely damaged, in which case we’ll quote you first.
Is my data safe?
Yes — all transfers are done in-house, in Cork, never outsourced.
We follow GDPR guidelines and permanently delete digital copies once you confirm receipt.
What about old photos, slides or negatives?
We scan:
Loose photos
Albums (we’ll handle carefully)
Slides (35mm and medium format)
Negatives (standard sizes)
You’ll get high-resolution digital images, and we can organise them into folders for you.
Do you back up phones?
Yes — we can back up photos and videos from most phones, tablets or SD cards.
(iPhones must be unlocked and not iCloud-only.)
Can you make a custom DVD or slideshow?
Yes — we offer:
DVD authoring with menus and chapters
Slideshows with music and titles
Photo-video tributes for special occasions
Prices start at €25 depending on the complexity.
I’ve tapes from the US – will they work?
Yes — we support NTSC format (used in the US, Canada, Japan etc).
Just let us know in advance — there’s a €10 surcharge per tape for NTSC format due to the extra equipment involved.
Can you collect tapes?
Not usually — we don’t offer a courier collection service.
But we can guide you through An Post or a courier drop if you need help.
Do you do this for schools, clubs or archives?
Yes — we’ve worked with:
GAA clubs
Community centres
Retirement homes
Heritage and local history projects
We offer discounts for bulk jobs and can tailor things to your needs.

One last thing…
Everything we do is run by one person — me!
So your tapes don’t get passed around or lost in the system.
You’ll always be dealing with someone who actually cares.
Let me know if you’d like a styled version with toggles or dropdowns later — or if we should make separate mini FAQs for each service (photos, audio, film etc)
