FAQ
For regular viewing or sharing, 300 DPI is ideal. Use 600 DPI for sharper prints or light editing. Small formats like slides need 2500–3200 DPI for detail enlargement. Only go above 4000 DPI for archive or very large print purposes
JPGs are great for everyday use—small files and easy to share. Choose TIFF for archival or editing, since it’s lossless
